New Equipment of OK1DN

Because of the fact that I was not able to obtain a needed pair of bipolar transistors (PP100 or 2SC2879) for my PA ALS500M(XCE) (the world situation is not too good nowadays of course) I decided for following solution. I bought a new small TRX (with 200W CW output power) TS-480HX from Kenwood (with 500 Hz CW filter). I had used 300 Watts CW before (because of my power supplier) and I have 200 Watts now. This is almost the same (reports of DX stations for me). Everything in my HAM Shack is simpler now than it was before (desk, cabling). I do not plan any other PA in the future therefore.

So now my equipment is:

TRX TS-480HX (200 W CW output power for HF)

PA LA250 (for 144 MHz - from RM Italy, cca 150W CW output power)

Transverter 28/144 MHz from UR3LMZ

TH-F7 - small TRX to hand from Kenwood (for local repeaters on 2 meters)

Retro QRP CW TX for 80 and 40 meters

Antennas:

HB9CV beam for 20 meters

HB9CV beam for 17 meters

DK7ZB (7 el.) for 2 meters

Dipole for 30 meters band

Vertical Delta Loop for 80 and 40 meters (possible to tune it up to 29 MHz)

I still prefer CW operation (and SSB or FM from time to time) to digital modes. I do not like mode FT-8 too much after my experience with it on SW and 2 meters. Classical digital modes like BPSK31 are relatively acceptable for me.
